My first long haul flight........first shot leaving nelson

On my way to Norfolk no land this comes apparent when going to YSSY

Stopped of at Norfolk for the night. off to YSSY.... 20min into the flight nothing to do nothing to see so we got the DVD player out

Wow an island in the distant is it a marriage?? no its Lord Howe Island

The look on the captain and co pilots face Say's it all!

180nm out from YSSY first sign of life another aircraft

Finlay land YSSY on the horizon

Finals for 34R YSSY

All parked up pax unloaded

That's my first long haul flight over 3hrs it was good! nice plane and cockpit layout to fly in too! biggrin.gif New_Zealand_etc.gif

Nice pics waka. got the gauges to work I see.

It doesn't take long in the Saab 340. I have flown a few turboprops on simulated delivery flight

Cool shots waka thumbup1.gif
Interesting idea to take something like the Saab on a long haul flight.
I like the first and the second shots a lot (actually I like all of them).
