The Spirit of NZFF

Post and comment on screen captures from the beautiful game here. Home of the monthly screenshot competition

Hey there,

For the screenshot competition this month - the Spirit of NZFF - I thought that I would repaint an aircraft.
This was my first repaint and there are a few little things that are wrong with it, but it's not too bad for a first go I think. The biggest mistake is that the roundel is around the wrong way, but I think I'll pretend that's just a 'design feature' laugh.gif.
I found repainting to be a bit fiddly but quite easy and also quite fun - I think I will have to do some more repainting in the future smile.gif.

Anyway, here are my screenshots. I still haven't decided which one I'll enter. I might have to do a few more flights before I enter anyway and get a few different shots.

Hope you enjoyed!
I will fix this paint job up and make it a bit better and then if anyone wants it they can have it.
It's for the Posky 737-800W, but obviously it could go on any aircraft.

Cheers
Anthony

whathesaid.gif and plus and whathesaid.gif an effort well done ..... That damm bird guys .. i recon Anthony only needs to rotate the fuselage "damm bird" , shrink the bird and rotate the tail beaker ... She'd be a WINNER! thumbup1.gif

Geat job Anthony - if I had time wouldn't mind doing some repainting myself - I'll have to teach myself how to do it first.

Thanks guys. Yer Mike, that was where I got the inspiration for using the kiwi roundel from, your October entry.
I believe you might be right Q300 about the wings and gear.
I got done with the main bit of the painting and then I just wanted to see if it would actually work laugh.gif
When I go back to fix some things up then I will have a look at that too.
Thanks for the comments Ian.
Paul, there's a few easy guides on the internet like the repainters resource and some stuff on the Project Opensky websites. It's not too hard.
