Grabaseat $13 flights

A place for 'real world' pilots and aviation enthusiasts to discuss their hobby

Been watching this for about the last hour, seems as though today ALL flights on grabaseat are $13, and flying international as well. Seats are going very fast, be quick if you want one. http://flightbookings.airnewzealand.co.nz/vgrabview/ At the start of me typing this Wellington to Christchurch had 43 seats, now it's down to 13. Just a shame that there's no other flights coming back from Australia or the Islands though.

EDIT: all the Christchurch/Wellington flights sold out in 10 minutes...just goes to show how fast they're selling!

They went really, really fast!
ROT-CHC-ROT came on and we booked it, but the only days we could get at $13 were exactly the same as exam week at school!!! pirate.gif

Anyway, they've got different destinations going up until 10pm. Some South Island ones went on at 5pm.
The international ones have limited return fares at the same price BTW.

Yep, I'd book a few flights just for the hell of it, but I don't have a credit card to get them...would those Prezzy Cards from NZ post work?

I assume all of the International deals are 'regular' fees on the way back though?

Would love to jump on a plane and head down to Wellington for the day for $26 tongue.gif

I don't think thats going to happen, TRG to CHC was this morning and ROT to CHC was this afternoon sad.gif
I managed to get a pretty cheap trip to CHC for a night from Rotorua and am going to attempt to book a Wellington trip.
I wasn't allowed to go on any of the international but i'll settle for the ones i've got biggrin.gif

the fare's back from AUS were approx around $314 including the other fees- tax, fuel surcharge etc + $13 for most of the available AKl - Aus flights, which amounted pretty much to the price of a 1 way airfare for return travel to Aus destinations during $13 promo period. Ham was approx $358+$13 - $377+ $13 etc
