Cheer me up

A place for 'real world' pilots and aviation enthusiasts to discuss their hobby

Postby HercFeend » Fri Oct 17, 2008 1:21 pm

I’ve just been hanging out at PPRuNe having a look around…..wish I hadn’t bothered!!!

I know there are plenty of great and helpful guys over there but jeez there are also more than the fair share of disgruntled, unhappy, whiney folk as well. It’s enough to put you off :/

I guess you just have to bear in mind that when you’re happy you go about your business and get on with things and when you’re unhappy (or very very unhappy, like a lot of these guys seem to be) you want to get it off your chest, tell the world and bring them down too……..forums…huh!!

Enjoy the weekend biggrin.gif
' Have you ever notice that the experts who decree that the age of the pilot is over are people who have never flown anything? In spite of the intensity of their feelings that the pilot's day is over I know of no expert who has volunteered to be a passenger in a non-piloted aircraft..'

As said before it's the Professional Pilot's Rumour Network. Unfortunately around 80% of the info on there is just that- rumours. That's not just my opinion, but that of a number of professional pilots I know also biggrin.gif

Well, not sure one should expect concrete fact given that the name of the site says that it's based around rumours. rolleyes.gif
