Sorry forgot to say - maybe someone else already did. re: Giant cones - real - used in Air Racing i.e. Red Bull Air Racing. Apologies if this is a repeat.

True. They're a high tech design inflated to a very high pressure, made in several sections held together with velcro, and designed to burst like balloons if touched by one of the planes. Hardly the sort of thing you'd have a set of your own to practise with.

Now explain how he managed to get 24th, 14th and 15th place results in a private series in which only 12 pilots were invited to participate after being selected at a pre-season selection camp.

I think that has been done on FSim or something like that. No way aircraft slows down that quick. Also that person running out to the aircraft does not look real.

Its Fake!!

I cant believe there is so much debate (here and elsewhere) about a FAKE VIRAL AD for Killathrilla clothing - see my earlier post. I guess this is what Killathrilla want - tons of free advertising

Hardly done on FSim, would probably land more realistically, its definately an RC aircraft landing, and Mr A185F, an real aircraft wouldnt bounce like that, and stop in 2 seconds.....

I felt it bit silly making my little list of why it is fake - the first time I saw it on Liveleak my immediate reaction was "how could anyone possibly think that is real?". No disrespect intended to anyone here who did think that, by the way, so please don't take it the wrong way!

Incidentally, here's a real single-wing landing, albeit with an R/C plane. smile.gif

If the FSX-like (computer generated) lighting on the aircraft didn't give it a way then you guys need to get out more. Clearly a very well done CGI, which these days is getting easier and easier to do.

As said the bump on landing, and the very short landing roll compared to the landing speed seems to defy the laws of physics - which can only be done with CGI.
