A few screenshots from across the water, Aerosoft Lord Howe Island together with the Aerosoft Twin Otter. Wonderful combination!!! Late evening light, a few cirrus clouds and light winds........great aircraft to fly, great scenery to fly into, and easy on frame rates. What joy!!

smooth landings.

More screenshots to follow. This was a time when I did not use the charts or maps, just set it up for some scenic VFR flying and really just played around for the views. The combination of scenery + aircraft is just so good, and the icing on the cake are the wispy cirrus clouds. For some reason, Lord Howe Island seems very easy on frame rates, even with the settings on high/very high. One reason for this is perhaps because it is just island with not much around it, so not so much autogen. The Twin Otter comes with a fantastic set of sounds as well, try listening through a good headset!!

I will post a few more screenshots later, smooth landings.

You make a very persuasive salesman for FSX in posting shots like that! They are just superb.
