Have been asked what improvement the payware FScene4X Australia/New Zealand makes.

Well, here's a few shots of what it now looks like when flying over Auckland. Needless to say, I am very happy. It's going to be a whole lot better now when flying around the country and over the ditch. notworthy.gif

Note: There is also a patch available on the FScene website which has a couple of updates to textures.

Going to go and check out what the other seasons look like now. thumbup1.gif

Only thing is that its low res and then it looks like 2004 textures ,they i think have just found that there 2004 work can work in FSX and have just released it with a FSX sticker

Quote from a "Fly Away" forum post I found:

"Ruud Faber of FScene has just announced that he will be releasing an upgraded version of FScene that works with Flight Simulator X. It is expected in April 07. "

Going to the FScene site (FScene) it appears the combined <??> "Twin Pack" is 15 Euros ($34). Anyone want to go halves with me? I need FSX ... maybe someone here would like the FS9 version? Or does FS9 display our textures OK anyway?

Arrrghhh! I hadn't looked closely as the ground texture, I was too blown away by the green.

Anyway, I had backed up the original textures from the Scenery/World folder, so I deleted this stuff and dropped them back in. Now my water still looks really crappy. angry.gif

Note: This is the FSX version I have downloaded
