Wow! What a surprise to check in on your flight to see all that distance you've covered! Rock on mate! What is your final destination?

Good to see some great shots as usual, after you finish this your probably be in for some more self flagerlation and start planning another tour...hmmm how about North to South pole in a Fieseler Storch or a complete tour of the African coast in a microlight.

Getting close now - still liking the "Twinkie" after all those hours in it?

The Twinkie is great. There are a few things I don't like about the panel - the GPS & MFD thing are pretty horrid, there's no DME or ADF... but otherwise, excellent.

Funny you should say that. It's not a microlight, but here I am off the coast of Equatorial Guinea... A clue to my ultimate destination is in the reg! laugh.gif

Exactly why I'm flying through a thunder storm in a plastic aeroplane is another matter! ninja.gif
(I haven't posted any of this tour here, because it's not even remotely NZ related. But if people are interested...)

Leg 44: Inverness EGPE to Enstone EGTN

385nm, 2.9 hours, (grand total: 19,310 nm, 145.4 hours)
EGPE - Inverness - Fort William - GOW - Morecambe - Warrington - SWB - EGTN

We start the final leg of this tour with a formation take off, Rob in the SF260

Coming up on Inverness town. Is that a bridge? Oh no, I think I see a red mist forming!

Phew! Resisted it! (awww shucks!)

Barreling down Loch Ness. Here Nessie!!!

Climbing past Fort William, and turning towards Glasgow. We need to get to FL55 for safe terrain clearance.

Passing the English Lake District

I love this tidal water! Here, we're approaching Barrow In Furness

And so, final for Enstone 08

Absolutely typical! 19000 miles, and there's nobody here! Even got to get my own fuel! Ho hum!
