That was my thought too until I saw the expert on TV1 news tonight explaining how it all works. It appears the "Baddies" will ask for
$50 million, the shipowners negotiating team will get it back to about $2 million and get their boat and crew back.

These aren't terrorists; there is a big difference between a hijacking and terrorism. No ulterior motive here - just in it for the cash. winkyy.gif

Makes you wonder why they wouldn't have armed guards on board, considering they had $180 mil worth of cargo!

They're supposed to have armed guards but obviously either they didn't bother to man their look outs or they were overwelmed by supperior fire power which seems quite likely. IMO the oil will probably go well with the Russian armour they captured a few weeks ago BTW yesterday they captured another ship. pirate.gif
