Pimp Dash 7

Ive been porting this Dash over to my X install and wanted to paint it up and stuff ,went for a flight around WanakaX to take a new shot from the screencomp and had some pics that were good so these are the left overs

ive got to map in some gauges into the vc but ive done the props and thats about it and it works in X

Thats are very cool paint there creator. How did you come up with the paint scheme? The scenery is excellent to!!!

Ive just started with the Creator name the font base02, kinda looked like a bomb after i did a drop shadow and edges, so i dig up my tagging textures and flame jobs and worked on it ,the creator is abit lame and can mod it with NZFF or something ..

Wow, Creator - those scenic shots are *awesome*. Hard to believe they're from a flight sim! Is this what the payware mesh gives you? I prefer No.1 (your choice) to No.2 - it just has more *drama*! However - your "also ran" (3rd from the bottom) is a stunning shot. It's not as *immediate* ... but it grows on you. Aw soddit ... I think it's the best one now

I notice the pilot has his wheels down. Has there been a catastrophic (weather-bomb related) hydraulics failure? I just can't believe there's anything down there you could plonk that Dash on

Newmans operated the Dash7 for a bit , PLONK that DASH exactly what pilot did at Wigram in 85 ( the debut ) ...jeepers , think he was a little surprised he did,t rip the wings off!

Yes Ian this is a true dump it in there sort of island hopper or something ..well the sim model is and has still to this day been a payware look but a freeware download since 2002sim right through to FSX with some texture and gauge changes that ive done ,but yeah a simple port ,almost a dump it in the aircraft folder and it works ..

this thing could almost land anywhere in the sim and will take off like a Caribou,well kind of

well yes and no it really defines the mountain etc but alot is also done with payware scenery high res Wanaka X found HERE!! {Robins site }
also i have FEX clouds that really make a huge differance to the sim ,,Payware is the way to go to get performance + a great looking sim it really does go hand in hand most of the time unless you come across a cr@p addon that kills all you have going
