It was raining here today, but it's the first time in a while! First time in at least a week that I've noticed the car thermometer below 20 degrees (During the day biggrin.gif )

Sweet shots, did you fly Frankfurt icon_arrow.gif Wellington direct?

You managed to stop ok? Sometimes you get problems in aircraft bigger than a 767 at NZWN laugh.gif

Isn't it evident?? Boeing are my favourite aircraft.

P.S. that's is my real birthday but I wish to keep my real age secret to keep you all pondering.

Frankfurt/Germany, Snow and -1°C[/quote]
I don't get the climate in Germany- when I was in Europe in October, for the first week I was in Northern England, and it was hovering around the 0 degrees mark and most of the trees were already loosing their leaves, then, for the next three and a bit weeks, I was in Thuringia, where Autumn was only just beginning, all of the trees were pretty colors and we went rockclimbing outdoors. I specially remember the thermometer on the car saying 23 degrees at 6pm in the evening, and that night, we ate outside at a restaurant wearing just t-shirts!

However, now its -1 and snowing in Main-hatten, but in Leeds, North England, its a toasty 6 degrees and sunny. Weird!

Love all your screenshots by the way, very clever editing.
What airport did you stop at on the way? I'm sure the Frankfurt to Wellington flight distance is just a tad outside the -400's 13,000km maximum range!

It's a -200.. biggrin.gif I prefer them to the -300 or -400. They look great with the short upper deck.

Whoops! I couldn't quite make out the type number in pics 1 and 3 so I wiki'ed 747-400 and it came up with Lufthansa as a primary user.

I think I need to study airliner.net pics more often icon_redface.gif
