They do some Air NZ link services with their J31s

That would have been Airwork's 737 (ZK-NQC). Maybe since NQC is getting repainted in DHL colours that is a sign that it will be a dedicated freighter, hence opening up the opportunity for someone like Air National to step in with a pure jet.

NQC is still available for passenger charter work. It's actually owned by Express Couriers Ltd (NZ Post) which is 50% owned by DHL hence the yellow colour scheme.

Awesome! Will be great to have a Bae flying around in NZ.
I will have to find a way to catch a flight on it, as I haven't flown the type before.
I wonder how much Air National charges for a charter... winkyy.gif

The return of the whimperjet. It's quiet on the outside because they channel all the noise inside smile.gif.
I had a great laugh when friends whom have flown the 146 said that the anti ice was referred to as "climb repellent".
Only the poms could come up with slinging 4 hairdryers on a wing for propulsion smile.gif
A cute little sucker though. If ya could just sling a couple of CFM56's on there you would have a real beast.

Remember the 50-50-90 rule. Anytime you have a 50-50 chance of getting something right, there's a 90% probability you'll get it wrong!

Just a side note to this AFG (the guys that made the great freeware King Air, Caravelle, PC-12 & YS-11) are making a freeware BAe-146 (for FS9).

On finals now as the rain stucks to bucket down! Their hanger is full with the Westwind, G200 and GLF4 so guess it will be outside somewhere tomorrow!

Not in this rain! Its on their ramp now following a water gun salute (not that they needed it in the rain) and the aircraft is all white.

It'll be nice to see a good old 146 back in NZ skies! Just an (uninformed) guess, but does anyone think it might pick up Jetconnect's WLG-CHC run, and maybe a few others? It would be easier to fill than a 733.

Didn't Ansett operate the type before they went out of business?
