I have made numerous attempts to install the FS9 RealNZ Omaka static SAFE B170 ZK-CTD into FSX...without success. I can place other aircraft in the correct position but not the B170!!!

Interested to hear if any members have found a way to install the aircraft in FSX??

A correction for you
The SAFE B170 at Omaka is ZK-CPT
ZK-CTD is a Cessna 150H
Further information on ZK-CTD from CAA accident reports
ZK-CTD, Cessna 1 0H, Oct 04 at 1 :0 , Lottin Point. 1 POB, injuries nil, damage substantial. Nature of flight, private other. Pilot CAA licence CPL (Aeroplane), age 3 yrs, flying hours 990 total, 631 on type, 16 in last 90 days.
During the cruise, the engine began to run rough and altitude could not be maintained. The pilot carried out a forced landing into a paddock but incurred substantial damage to the aircraft. Main sources of information: Accident details submitted by pilot

It should work, just by copying the Bristol_170 folder from FS2004 to FSX -- placing it in SimObjects\Airplanes -- and copying the Traffic_safe.bgl from FS2004\Scenery\World\Scenery into FSX's Scenery\World\Scenery folder.

If that doesn't work, get back to me.

hi bob,

i had that problem too, i installed the orbix and woai ai aircraft, but they would not show up, it turned out that the problem was that some of the flight plans were in fsx format, and 1 other was in fs9 format. when you have a flight plan in fs9 format installed in fsx, it stops the fsx flight plans from being active. i fixed it by changing all the flight plans to fsx format by using a program called AIFPC. that fixed it and i got all my other AI traffic working, hope that helps a little,

Jason
In the ongoing battle between objects made of aluminum going hundreds of miles per hour and the ground going zero miles per hour, the ground has yet to lose.
