Vote for the December Screenshot Winner

Post and comment on screen captures from the beautiful game here. Home of the monthly screenshot competition

Postby Alex » Thu Jan 01, 2009 5:08 pm

Thanks to all who took the time out to set up a shot to enter into our competition; December is a very busy month...

Voting will be open a bit longer this month, as people will be busy on holiday, so you have until Wednesday 7th January to get your votes in. The screenshot with the most votes on the evening of the 7th of December will be deemed the winner, and the author will receive a Flight1 prize absolutely free. smile.gif

To see a large version of the shot, just click on the thumbnail. winkyy.gif

Great idea to link the thumbnails to the larger images!

It is, though the stuff you have to type in turns out rather nasty (think: relatively long with 15-20 entries, and plenty of possibility to make a typo), but it might just be worth it. laugh.gif

Sorry to hear that Frank (..and I know how that feels sad.gif ...all that work down the drain).........admin should be able to conjure up a decent picture from your entry I think if you win...which looks likely.

I've had a chat to Andrew tonight, and we'll run with the competition and see how it goes. If Frank's shot wins it'll be a little trickier to make it into a banner - but it's worth a shot. smile.gif

That said though, if anyone voted for Frank and would like to change their vote now (that the banner will not look the same as it would if a full-size shot is available) please get in contact with me and we can change your vote to an alternate screenshot. Please note, I'll be using the IP logs to double-check what you say is true if you want to change your vote - I'd hate to think that someone would want to try and get another illicit vote for their favourite.

I,v got to say , appears the quality of the screen shots compared to the early days is amazing , everyone thinking for new ideas but the real part is the effort in editing .

Well guys, it was actually pretty close there in the end but Frank pulled it over Nick, just. winkyy.gif

I've had a chat to both Frank and Nick, and we've agreed to put Nick's (as Nick was the runner-up) shot on the banner, as Frank doesn't have a full-size version on his computer. So cheers guys. thumbup1.gif

That marks the end of my running the screenshot competitions, I'm handing back over to Trolly now. Thanks guys. smile.gif
