An area to discuss scenery addons for virtual NZ

I just wanted to ask the scenery designers around here what tools they use to create their scenery. I had a quick search of google and I see a couple of different tools and no real help, and I much rather ask. tongue.gif

So what tools do you use?

Best answer is to visit Robs site http://www.windowlight.co.nz/design.html , scenery design tools , depends on what you want to do , whether just placing objects or actually build a model . You probally define what you want to do , a building in your city or town that,s an icon to your local airfield .

Gmax at turbosquid.com for modelling ,photoshop or gimp for textures and just what comes with the default deluxe SDK in FSX as the object placement tools and bits and pieces can all be found in that ...
like Ian has pointed out robins site has a good start scenery tutorials and i think is the best stop to learner designers ..
can always lend a hand on NZFF Team Speak if needed..
