Long story short, I bought a new computer aimed at moving onto FSX....FS9 coupled with Zinertek's water and their *new* weather effects, looks just as good as FSX and runs nearly 3x as good. I can only see myself using FSX the odd time, and that will be for anything non-fspassengers or for multiplayer now. All I need to sort out now is the 'jagged' lines on textures, not sure if it's a filter problem or if it's to do with AA (which I have at the maximum it will go with nhancer, 16xQ CSAA. Haven't tried vsync yet, maybe that could fix it.

A few people have already asked me if this is a real photo or not laugh.gif

jaggered line is Antialiasing filter in your options. Make sure that's checked. If its checked and your still jaggered, check graphics card settings.

I've heard that it's best left OFF in FSX, but enabled in your video [card] set up. If it's nVidia, you can create/assign a profile for FSX. I think the idea is that you experiment and set the various FSAA modes in the nVidia control panel (which gives you previews).

Yes, leave it off and control it through your graphics card panel.

I'm not too worried about it in FSX, I meant for FS9. Might try what you said though, turn it off in the sim and let my card panel/nhancer do it.

Yes I heard you should let your Graphics card controll it, but when I went to my nvidia control panel it said to let it be program controlled. So i put it on "enhance program setting" smile.gif

For fs9 yes you run it from the card itself, also there are post here in the forums about it from the earlier days ,so you could try dig them up to double check as i think there was app controlled still for one setting but it been so long now that ive used it i cant be 100% ,though i know fs9 is card controlled mostly than app

I think that actually means something quite different. If you look at the nHancer help screens, it explains it (but I've already forgotten). I do remember that it's not what I thought.

looks nice, great shot
In the ongoing battle between objects made of aluminum going hundreds of miles per hour and the ground going zero miles per hour, the ground has yet to lose.
