Ages ago I went out and found all the default FS9 platforms from the object BGLs. I originally posted it at hovercontrol.com, but somebody kindly posted it at another forum and made a few edits to my post.

That should keep you busy for a while... though I'm not sure if they added more in FSX or changed the location.

Sorry, I'm not an FSX user so can't really help much there.

Im not very upto date with where they all mite be but usually a good google search like "fsx carrier locations " and many other searches should bring up lots of info on different forums /librarys etc..
If you have the deluxe version you could use the object placement tools to lay aircraft carriers anywhere you want or set up your own missions where you land on moving ships ,,sounds great doesnt it and its not to hard to learn ,again a google search would bring up want you will need and how to do it ...

Before I reinstalled I had this add on called something like AI Carriers I think, anyway it allowed you to place working carriers in free flight mode. Trying to think of the name....

^^Much easier to read winkyy.gif

No need for SDK. Check your settings to see if they're high enough, specifically check 'ships and ferries' and 'scenery complexity'. They are there, they can be hard to find from high up in the air.
If you know the coordinates (i.e. latitude and longitude) then you can open up the map while flying and type in the coordinates on the left and press 'ok'
BTW you should update fsx to SP2 (Service Pack 2)
