If it can do whats advertised then its got me convinced that the F-35 is the combat a/c to have in the future..there is a lot of conjecture around that the A2A performance is not that good but with sytems (and stealth) like that it doesn't really matter.

Hey Paul , F35 .. ok F22 , we no the F23 , i would love to see the collection to the F35 , there was a XF31 but then was,nt the 29 pre dated the F21 which .. was a umm flop

.. when we had a battle like this , we were lessered to the 16 /17 /18 .. F20

X31 was just a test aircraft to test TVN its flight tests were used for the development of the F22 and the F35 is in no way as good as the F22 in A/A. F22 just sits on 60000ft cruising and would just pick the 35 off if he found him on radar.
