shortly im heading overseas on a 'classics' field trip and im after a laptop...

while i save up for my macbook i need a different laptop mac or win (not ubuntu ) for travelling and maybe some school.

as i have said, im heading overseas so you can imagine that my funds might be slightly strethced as of late, so the cheaper the better

Whats your budget?

You can get a decent old MacBook for around $700 AUD, and even less for non intel models.

well im open to anything, but if im getting a maccle i need to get the alum type ones, thats what im currently saving for.
