They have been trying to sell this for a couple of years now it is on state highway 6 and they have been having problems for many years trying to get car parking for tourists to visit and use their tea rooms etc

It would be very nice if the Argosy was to be shifted over and parked on the Omaka Aviation Heritage site and then to also have the Bristol Freighter parked next to it keeping the the Safe Air historic aircraft together so that all visitors to the Aviation Heritage can see another part of Marlborough's aviation history

Bit too expensive for this old fella, wrong island also.

Wonder if they would just sell the Argosy? I've got enough room I think

Odd - the Cafe only re-opened in the last few months, now its back for sale. Way over priced at $900K.
So you just want the plane - Its very hard work to keep something of that size clean and in good condition when its stored outside - add to that the harsh Marlb sun and the paint fades quickly too.
