Hallo simmers! Long time since I came on here. Went through a phase of not simming for a long time but then the bug bit (once a simmer always a simmer) and now Im back hee hee. I flew this Air Canada A319 on this real-world domestic route from Vancouver to Calgary (CYVR-CYYC). I would also like to say a big THANK YOU to the Project Airbus crew for your fantastic Airbus series. Hope you NZ simmers have been well smile.gif

Anyways onto the flight!

Here we are bumbling along to the active runway as the safety videos play in the cabin sleep.gif

After a short hold the tower tells us to line up. About a minute later we are given takeoff clearance and the twin CFMs are cut loose. We screech into the sky, positive climb!

Snapped this one on the climb. What a nice day!

Nice view of the mountains on the climb. A nice day for trekking! laugh.gif

Soon we are in the cruise and what a smooth cruise it is. And so we trundle along happily while the SLC sip orange juice and munch sandwiches. Wonder whats for dessert?

We are low down now and the speeds comin back as we get closer to Calgary and ATC vectors us to intercept the ILS radar.gif

Fully established on the ILS. Dunlops dropped and everything on the wings hangin' out
This is where the vortex is at its strongest but those winglets help out a lot and its not as bad! Way to go winglets.

Screaming in over the rooftops

Smooth was Throttles landing. "Have we landed yet" say the pax cool.gif

Lets slow this crate down.Spoilers do just that - they spoil the airflow over the wing thus destroying lift.
Welcome to Calgary 8-)

Hope you all enjoyed that ;D

Now Im gonna check out what you guys posted hee hee.

Welcome back dude ,i see you have the dreaded Orbx agn texture bugger up on your roofs ,the gable roof A frame on a flat roof thing all the way around the world ,as of a year later this problem still hasent had full address of this simple texture problem..
you kinda wonder if the beta testers fly outside of OZ or even if they noticed this happen in there first Orbx blue release .
I hear they are not so happy about fixing this problem and are still trying to avoid it in someways even though its not one or two customers ,its all of them to the point if you dont fly out of OZ you are fine and if you do we dont really care ..
Yes its a great addon but is it so worth it when you get screenshots everywhere in the world that look like they had a cowboy putting on the roofs ,,this is mostly due to the Orbx switches not turning off and reverting textures to default when you are not flying in OZ

anyway mate great story line to your screenshots and i love that little airbus ,such a nice look to that one .. winkyy.gif

It is just a simple merge with the default A321 VC cool.gif

If anyone needs to know how to do this I have written a tutorial. The example I have used is for the Posky 737NG but the exact steps can be used for a Project Airbus plane - or any other plane you want biggrin.gif

Here it is:

Glad you all liked the shots!
