Yes very sad. A very experienced (retired) pilot and a neat little aeroplane, was lucky enough to go for a wee fly in when I was little.

I didn't know the guy personally but I guess it was him who took me in the plane, I cant remember I just remember going flying in it when I was like 11 and was focused on the flying and the plane rather than the pilot !
Apparently was a top bloke, well respected in the aviation community.

My condolences to Family and friends also.
