Wheels up landing at ardmore

A place for 'real world' pilots and aviation enthusiasts to discuss their hobby

Heard from one of my mates up at ardmore yesterday that a piper senica had to make a wheels up landing. Does anyone know anything about this? Any pictures? Just curious as to what the full story was?!

There was a photo in one of the weekend newspapers this morning. As I understand it, the nosewheel only partly extended so the pilot elected to make a gear-up landing on taxiway Juliet (the old runway 07/25 seal) which went pretty much without incident. No injuries, no major damage.
