A little tip to practice , do a dozen or so curcits in the naval type on small runway , aim for the threshold markers or piano keys , if you grease it on them every time , you cant go wrong and course FSX carrier really do move and super stable ! thumbup1.gif

I love doing carrier take-offs and landings!! A multiplayer sometime maybe? And would there be a way to use Mikes HMNZS Canterbury as a replacment for the default FSX Destroyer?

I recommend getting Acceleration. It is so much fun zooming around in the F18

Can someone tell me how I can find the 'Ark'? It installed OK, however I don't have Acceleration, only FSX SP2, an I'm damned if I can locate it anywhere, even after following the instructions...!!! icon_question.gif

Well if its scenery and it is as far as i can see ,it would be located in the addon scenery folder in the main FSX directory ,it mite not activated so you would need to go to the addon library manger in the setting control in FSX and add it to the library of scenerys ...

the addon designer of this would have placed it somewhere that you would read in the read me or you would find it in the flights part of the menu to locate its position..
now im not sure about the accel but sp2 should be ok unless the readme say only used with accel or something ...
Ian who started this post would have a better idea as to where this addon installs ,

one other thing as it could of installed in its own directory C:drive etc ,,you would know that if it asked you in the install exe "if it has one " to make new directory bla bla ..
most prob this is just a activation in the scenery lib manager ..
hope this helps Ian should be around at about 230am lol

The file is installed to your Simobjects/Boats directory , in that there is a pdf. readme to locate the Ark from any one off 3 starting points .

If you have the Latitude and longitude of the Ark you can go to your flight sim map and put it in plus your aircraft's altitude, speed and direction and you should be flying over it
