May Screenshot Competition

Post and comment on screen captures from the beautiful game here. Home of the monthly screenshot competition

Postby ardypilot » Wed May 06, 2009 7:02 pm

This month 'jastheace' has kindly offered to provide a Captain Sim 757 DVD addon (for both FS2004 and FSX) as a prize to the member who receives the most votes for their entry. You can check out the features of this spectacular addon here, or read Jason's own review here.

This is the 35th monthly screenshot competition, which is free to enter for all the members of NZFF.

This month's rules are as follows:

1) The screenshot must be from a Flight Simulator program (FS2004, FSX, X-Plane, etc), and the position of the shot must be somewhere over New Zealand territory.

2) The image size must be as close as possible to 984 pixels wide- read the uploading screenshot guide to find out how to re-size your shot. Please keep a high resolution version saved on your computer; the admin may request it from you at the end of the month to convert into a site banner!

3) Also remember, try and make your shot suitable for a thin rectangular banner. Think about that when positioning your aircraft and choosing camera angles etc. (and please don't include any text on the image either)

4) Images can be submitted from May 6th to May 31st 2009, with only one entry per member. You can change your submission before the closing date if you want, just delete the old one and replace it with a new one (by using the edit button at the bottom of your post. Please don't post saying you have edited your original entry, as this creates unnecessary clutter).

5) On May 31st, a poll will open and run for a few days to decide who has the best image, then the winner will have a cropped version of their image appear in the NZFF banner as well as receiving the DVD prize!

6) Editing is allowed, if you know how to do it. The more stunning your shots look the better!

7) This month's theme is 'The A380'. With the super jumbo making daily flights to and from Godzone now, it's to to get a shot up on our banner of it!

All the best to everyone, lets see lots of entries guys! May the best screenshot win! ninja.gif

In the ongoing battle between objects made of aluminum going hundreds of miles per hour and the ground going zero miles per hour, the ground has yet to lose.

well i tried to get it to look good, but i couldnt get it looking any better than a flying bus. So all i could do was make a shot by exploiting its ugly bloated body. wink.gif
