Notebookcity.co.nz - Reliable?

The place to ask for help or solve each others technical issues and discuss hardware

Hey...with my 2GB of RAM maxing out when gaming and 40% at idle!, I'm in the market for some more. I've decided on this Ballistix 2 x 4GB to go with my 2 x 1GB existing Ballistix RAM.

I have come across this website, notebookcity.co.nz and am wondering if anyone has used them because there prices are about $20 cheaper than anyone else (including GST)

Looking at a few more fans to replace my cheap loud one that came with my TRUE, and looked at N.B.C and they are $22, everywhere else they are $40-50.

And the shipping is cheap too.

Have I come across a gem, or is it to good to be true?

ive used them before for lots of things, when i still had my ol' HP pavilion a1555a it needed some serious upgrading... so i bought a fan, mobo and new ram... the mobo and the fan worked beautifully and the ram worked for a week then started screwing me over, however i was told by nbc that it was a one-off and they replaced it with a higher model free of charge. i trust nbc.

try this, this is the RAM you lookin at
Current PC - 3.2Ghz quadcore , GTX470, 750W PSU, 3.5tb, 12gb ddr3

OK, thanks for your testimonial smile.gif

No that isn't the ram, that's got a lower voltage and a much higher CAS LATENCY than what I already have, so in order to keep my 2GB already installed, I have to match the specs of it. (I have set it up in the BIOS)

Thanks again

I assume you're running a 64bit OS?? It's not mentioned in your sig...
