FS on the new Macbook Pro's

The place to ask for help or solve each others technical issues and discuss hardware

Gidday Guys,

After getting thoroughly fed up with my Windoze machine, I went ahead and ordered a new, unibody MacBook Pro. As a dedicated Apple user, I thought it would be a nice addition.

Obviously, I have done my research and feel fairly confident I can run at least FS9 very well in this new, 2.4ghz model. I was just wondering if anybody on the forums has the same setup and how it is going for them.

well my laptop is practically the same spec. even higher in some spots and yet apple have hiked the price over a grand higher sad.gif. i see no point in getting apples when you can have lots of windows for the same price

go here for the prices apple

youll see that the smallest and least powerfull is still $2399 that is 13" and only 2.26ghz core2duo.... what a rip

Didn't ask for a Mac v PC debate, not really interested in it either - I have my reasons.
