in relation to the overshoot by the Seneca (?) video at St Barts - decided to have a go with my Baron -- done it before but been a long time ........

Take off is no issue..

Landing ..it pays to concentrate as the first two attempts I crashed heavily into the runway whilst taking pics rolleyes.gif ..third (ands succesful) attempt the pics were taken on replay instead

Probably cooked the brakes a bit

Dont get distracted by the sunbathers! winkyy.gif

Had to step on the anchors ..just had enough runway

Sweet shots again- I particularly like the Sukhoi. Is the SU-25 the variant that has VTOL thurst vectoring capabilities, and if so, is that moddled in FS9? I'd love to give that a go in the sim after watching the vids SUBS posted in this thread earlier.

Thanks Guys ..the SU-27 pictured is the plain jane SU-27 without vector thrusting..its a fairly basic (2d panel only) freeware one from Simaviation..lot of fun though

Nice experiment there Naki! smile.gif

I love flying that approach too...I will admit that I haven't been very adventureous with my choice of aircraft though! I did try it in a Spitfire once without much luck. Came in waaaay too hot! laugh.gif

Great pics - I only had the default FSX scenery, but managed to slide the Baron in quite easily. The building at the end of the runway, where the beach should be, made sure that I didn't overun !!.
What scenery is that - payware or free?

cheers Deane
