Thanks to NZFF, I now have an RNZAF 757 in my collection smile.gif .. goes so well with my C-130 that I bought in the CS sale!

I have to admit, Captain Sim aircraft are just *amazing*. The 757 is "button pusher's" heaven - with a really decent FMC thrown in. You really can't just "jump in and go" with this one. Let's face it, it's not exactly a Tiger Moth! I *love* it wub.gif

Here are some rejects from my June entry (snow scenes). I thought I'd try and see if the 757 was truly "all weather" winkyy.gif

I have to say I'm pretty impressed by the way FSX creates weather!

My FSX is pretty slow anyway (I fly it totally maxed out, just so I can admire the scenery) ... so I can't say I noticed a particular frame-drop winkyy.gif

I'd say my system is mid-range - nothing *amazing* and I find the 757 (and C-130) perfectly acceptable. Anyway - if the model is cr*p, the VC is cr*p and the flight characteristics unrealistic, I don't how fast the bloomin' frame rate is! laugh.gif

I think CS, PMDG and F1 are way ahead of all the others.

I'm waiting for the Just Flight Connie .... that would have been the ideal snow plane to keep me warm , but your selection would be smack on , .. I would add A2A payware to that list , the Stratocruiser is .... hell so much fun- ideal for the NZ short hops

The third shot is very awesome - you can almost feel the stillness there (were it not for the big hulking 757 in the way tongue.gif).

If anyone else says anything about pic no.3 I'm going to have to change my entry laugh.gif!

I had to reject it as I thought I'd have a hard time squeezing it into the narrow letter-box format of the header pic. There's no more "spare" at the sides and any vertical cropping obliterated most of the landscape sad.gif

I could "move" the 757 down in Photoshop, but I generally don't edit my pics at all.

Would this be acceptable?

You need to get a Matrox TrippleHead2go and three monitors then you can get it a real banner format biggrin.gif
