Took the BSMP Fairchild Metro beta model up for flight to test the handling and dynamics this evening over Marlborough- here's a few sneak peak shots featuring the rather funky temporary texture scheme:

Any word on what liveries will be released with the aircraft? There have been quite a few operators of the Metro in NZ:

- Air Albatross
- Air Nelson: old Air NZ Link c/s
- Eagle Air: old and new Air NZ Link c/s
- Air Chatham
- Airwork (NZ) Ltd
- Origin Pacific
- Air Post
- Life Flight
- Skylink

Air Post don't have a livery ...at the moment. Wish we still had the old post livery but that was been removed from POB and more than the livery was removed from POA.
POE and POF are just in ex origin colours with the titles removed. ZKPOB is all white but does carry the skylink logo, bound to be a photo somewhere.

Air Albatross

... was the first Metro operator in NZ. They operated four between 1981-1985 on routes such as Wellington-Nelson/Blenheim. They went bancrupt after the "famous" Arapawa Island crash in Ocotber 1985. I have not come across a picture so far.

Skylink

... should be a very easy repaint: biggrin.gif

The small print says "The Air Charter Specialists"

Airwork

...e.g: ZK-POE/F: http://jetphotos.net/viewphoto.php?id=5861364&nseq=21

News report from 1985 on the crash - no wonder the airline went bancrupt afterwards....

Just to avoid confusion - the aicraft that crashed was a Cessna 402, not a Metro.

We are still working on the panel for it, I am considering launching a pre VC version, I have a VC modelled but no texturer and no guages at the moment but its still a live project.
