I've just come across this site with rare black and white aviation pictures from New Zealand. They are all there : Herons, Rapides, Devons, DC-3s and much more.

WOW GOJO , hells ! there are some .. umm ... take me back to the future , look at the tree line at Christchurch airport , the Viscount photos .. the paddocks did give you the feeling you could reach out and touch the southern alps .. today its tree line that surrounds the airport , the C141 .. parted at gate 7/8 or that was what it was then ... funny feeling i was there on a very similar day , or maybe the same , very surprised a Connie was not captured and as for the C124s 1968/69 they had them parked out on the grass out by Avonhead road , one of there last seasons to the ice .
