I suggest you look at some airplanes!

You could always try that Flight Extreme aerobatics thing at the aeroclub in an Extra300... I think it's about $300 though...

Find the South-Eastern Apron... it's where the Warbirds live (like the Cat, Mustang, AirTrainer etc live)... Might get some good photo-ops if the hanger is open...

Stop in at the cafe adjoining the aeroclub for a coffee or lunch...

Just pray for nice weather and take a wander about the place... no one really seems to mind as long as you stay off the taxiways winkyy.gif

ps. no Idea about MOTAT... haven't been for almost 8 years... when I was wandering about the place getting my wedding photos done... unfortunately not with the aircraft sad.gif

That would be a cool wedding photo, in the cockpit of a Lancaster...

The Warbirds always seem to be out and about round there mid week- the main hanger in the centre of the apron is home to the Mustang, Trojan and all the Harvards, and I've taken a look around in there many a time with out any problems. You can also drive out to the Unicom tower where ZK-DAK is usually parked, as long as you put your cars hazard lights on as you cross over taxiway Hotel (via Corsair Lane).

As for the cafe- it's way overpriced! Papakura central is only 5 minutes away down Cosgrave Road!

Oh, and if you are flying in/out check out our local low flying zone, NZL266. Always good for a slalom around the moored boats there! winkyy.gif
