RNZAF 757 at Wellington

Seems everyone is doing some editing today, so I decided to join in.

I don't like the way the colours turned out in the end but I'll leave them up anyway. Colours are much better in Photoshop than after uploading for some reason

Pretty disappointed

Yep ... maybe the last one! Not sure what that bowling green is doing in the middle of an airport! laugh.gif

Love the ground texture detail!

As to the colours - some image uploader services resample the image after upload (to reduce filesize). With .jpg files, this can cause all sorts of odd behaviour. If you want to try a comparison, PM me and we could FTP one of them onto NZFSIM.

What ground textures are you using, as your runways look better than mine. I use RealNZ but perhaps you have installed new r-w textures?

smooth landings.

Using the Google aerial to define taxiways and everything, but default FSX runway that I have lined up and on top of the real photo.

The green painted area is just to mark the area between the two stubs. Its the same between the last two stubs at the other end.

Helicopters can't actually fly. Their just so ugly that the world repels them. :)

Cool pics. Not sure where the repaint is from - but I've never seen an RNZAF 757 look even half that dirty. You must have done some serious flying and racked up a bit of dirt on the way!! Wait til the next scheduled wash - she'll be back to looking brand new.
