Alex who usually does the screen shot comp has not been on the forum for weeks now, Andrew (Trolly) had to put the voting up for the August comp so the prize for the august comp has not been given yet either as Alex does the organization for the prizes.
I heard that he had gone to Oz for a holiday if he did then maybe he has decided to stay maybe he has found a nice looking sheila over there

Alex is away on Initial Officer Training with the Air Force. From what I've heard they've been very busy with not much free time. He'll be on Wings Course next year so will be even busier still!

That is good to hear I hope he is enjoying and does well with his training I presume he is now on an Officers training course at base Woodbourne.
It would have been nice if he had let us all know when he was joining the RNZAF and made arrangements for someone else to take over the screen shot comps.

I guess we could have a comp without a prize this month -- yes or no? Both Trolly and Alex are busy at the moment, and I have absolutely no involvement in the screenshot comp, and don't intend to get back into it.

Yes and there is always the prize of having your screen shot as the NZFF banner for the month
