Welcome to the NZFF Screenshot Competition for November 2009.

Thanks to jastheace for donating this month's prize -- the Wilco CRJ on CD.

This month's rules are as follows:

1) The screenshot must be from a Flight Simulator program (FS2004, FSX, X-Plane, etc), and the position of the shot must be somewhere over New Zealand territory.

2) The image size must be as close as possible to 984 pixels wide- read the uploading screenshot guide to find out how to re-size your shot. Please keep a high resolution version saved on your computer; the admin may request it from you at the end of the month to convert into a site banner!

3) Also remember, try and make your shot suitable for a thin rectangular banner. Think about that when positioning your aircraft and choosing camera angles etc. (and please don't include any text on the image either)

4) Images can be submitted from November 4st to November 30st 2009, with only one entry per member. You can change your submission before the closing date if you want, just delete the old one and replace it with a new one (by using the edit button at the bottom of your post. Please don't post saying you have edited your original entry, as this creates unnecessary clutter).

5) Soon after the competition ends, a poll will open to decide who has the best image, then the winner will have a cropped version of their image appear in the NZFF banner as well as receiving the prize!

6) Editing is allowed, if you know how to do it. The more stunning your shots look the better!

7) This month's theme is 'Boeing vs Airbus'. Following Air New Zealand's decision to replace its domestic Boeing fleet with Airbus A320s, are we giving up a bit of style in the name of progress? Create a screenshot to show your feelings on the issue -- or interpret the theme as you wish, as always.

However your screenshot must include either a Boeing or Airbus aircraft -- or both.

That shot appears to show the aircraft over the trees....should it not be thru them? smile.gif

An interesting choice. Wellington will be a problem. It is one matter to have 1 or two international flights operate out of Wellington but another altogether having all the domestic ones as well.
The A320 doesn't like the weather that wellington can produce.

Remember the 50-50-90 rule. Anytime you have a 50-50 chance of getting something right, there's a 90% probability you'll get it wrong!

Seems to me Boeing was carrying Airbus long before , and in what , a modified WWII Bomber ! the famed B-29 , Boeing Reliable ..... Oh Yeah! winkyy.gif

As you can see , no brakets holding the Airbus on the trolly winkyy.gif , I was simply hoping it would just fall off tongue.gif

By the way for the kids at home , the Airbust was not hurt during production off this screen shot
