Well at least they are saying that it should be this year. winkyy.gif We won't be seeing the Air NZ 789s for quite a while still.

Better than nothing I spose.

Lets hope the 747-800 is a little bit quicker than this, at least they've finished the cockpit mockup for the 748.

It might 'fly' by the end of the year (although even that I am skeptical about) but I'd pretty much guarantee there will be delays in getting it ready for passenger ops, just like the A380.

Moral of the story: Never call an aircraft a 'dreamliner' because if you're not careful, that's all it will be!

So did anyone else see it? I saw it until about 6 feet off the runway then the video feed died.. sad.gif
