I just got Across the strait and when I use DX10 the default runway markings show up for NZWN and NZWB and at NZWB default tarmac also shows up
Is there any way to fix this because I have to use REX in DX10 because I can't run it in DX9, so its Across the strait or REX sad.gif

I don't think you can 'fix' this, because there's nothing broken. DX10 support in FSX is a 'preview', as you are probably aware, so it was never completed. It was also an attempt by MS to force FSX-compliant development, so any non-FSX techniques don't work. That's what you are seeing here. My ground polys normally cover up the default markings, but with DX10 they still show through.

You could try running the included facilities file -- (Wellington Intl NZWN.bgl) -- through something like Airport Design Editor and actually deleting all the visible markings from the runway etc. You can also change the width of taxiways to zero, which will stop them showing up.

I'm also interested in why you can't use DX9 with REX -- what exactly prevents you from using it? I'd be surprised if REX did force anyone to use the DX10 preview.

Sorry, I left out the Woodbourne facilities file -- it is AF2_NZWB.bgl.

I used FSX planner for wellington but FSX planner couldn't open woodbourne then I tried opening woodbourne with ADE 9x and it could open it but it couldn't compile it
