As the BAC project manager on the 'BAC Z-WING STUMPMASTER Mk 1' .. the new concept of the slip wing , changing dynamics with weights to carry loads still to be proven , this means the aircraft can move weapon weight to suit its parameters , ..

So yeah, whos up for making this in FSX, haha

If something like that went into production for an airforce, i think all the other pilots would laugh them self into a side of mountain or something like that, great stuff

Thanks Dion500....but your right, it wasnt meant to look like that winkyy.gif i left moving one of the wings too late (port side i think)......but by then it was too late.....almost dumped it, but Im glad i didnt. I have silly damm thing as wallpaper rolleyes.gif

The staggered wing on the Stumpmaster was to offset the effects of the shock cone as it transited through mach1, ensuring that one wing was always clear of the shock wave as it progressed over the forward and then aft wing !!
The test pilot however reported that it did take an awfully long time to open the canopy after landing, the ground crew had to remove the fin. Typical British desigh huh - after all you did have to dissassemble half the plane to get the engine out !! Ok - so just the last bit is actually true!!

Ahhh....but the Mk1 Z-Wing had a side opening canopy....the rest is true tongue.gif
