Been looking at this, and seeing missed out last year am packing up family to go to this.

Last year's airshow here in Rotorua (to celebrate the Sydney flights) was cancelled due inclement weather. The weather fined up a bit by later on, so it was a pity - but the call had to be made I guess.

Anyway, it does look like a good line up they have planned, and it is nice that it's free. Which makes a nice change from the likes of Tauranga and Wanaka (although the displays aren't as good as TRG and nowhere near WKA levels). It's a shame that it will be held at the Lakefront - a long distance from the airport and from the DC3 flights.

There ought to be a few of us there - Captainherc, me and probably Daniel at least. Plus some of the Tauranga members should be able to make it over thumbup1.gif
