Tail at Tauranga

Post and comment on screen captures from the beautiful game here. Home of the monthly screenshot competition

Postby SeanTK » Tue Mar 02, 2010 1:07 pm

Hello. New here, and already active with a request in the aircraft/repaint requests forum. rolleyes.gif laugh.gif

Anyway, I thought I'd show one of my edited screenshots. I wasn't sure if the mention of photobucket in the guidance at the top of this forum was a suggestion or a rule, but right now the images that I am showing are hosted at another flightsim forum that I frequent, just to see if I can save from having to sign up and give my zip code to photobucket, on their unsecured website. smile.gif

Featured in this shot:
FS2004.
PMDG 1900D. No need to explain the livery....
RealNZ Tauranga.

Thanks for looking! If I need to change my image host, let me know.

Great shot. Very atospheric -- if I needed one word to sum up Tauranga, it would probably be...

Puddles!

You can host your images wherever you like, provided you have a reasonable expectation that the host will be online a good part of the time, and that there are no issues with hot-linking.

Thanks for the comments and clarification on the hosting.

Naki, I used Adobe Photoshop Elements 5.0 for this shot, with the following plugin. This plugin probably works with a number of the Adobe Photoshop variations:

Yeah, what they said......lovely crisp and clear shot.

Wondered about the puddles myself, could have used some of that on what used to be my lawn and now what looks
like an FSX landscape....

Another great screenshot, and I had to look a few times to make sure that it was FS9. Nice framing and great use of the reflections as well. Good to see a different approach, with only part of an aircraft included. Hope that we see more screenshots like this so keep posting them!.

smooth landings
