The Hamilton aeroclub open day is this weekend coming up ,with $40 DC3 rides and flybys etc of club aircraft.

I didnt go but did see a DH vampire and the dak doing low level pass over my house, so cool not everyday you can stay at home and see a vamp going by ..

splitpin that would be a CTC DA42 Twinstar - one of the most common aircraft types seen around or above Hamilton.

thumbup1.gif good to see you still snapping HW....nice shots....I just got home from a sunset snapping trip.....at the airport (of course).....once the sun was gone it was freezing. I'll check what Ive got and post anything nice.

Are you still using the S1500(CAM) ?......and have you seen the HS10 version?....30x true opitcal zoom.......tempting......but its $999

One thing i do question since i love to be an inmate here , guess they are dumping the external viewing platform , this has affected the entire ... well frankly who cares about trees , bush's all those ugly buildings called church;s , let s just bloody knock the whole lot down .

had the Police heli orbiting and occasionally hovering overhead for around 20 mins.
