Hi guys,
It's hard to answer the question with a simple yes or no. I think most of us have nothing to fear about it. However with all these security checkpoints it seems to come to a point, where everyone becomes a bit stressed after entering an international airport. Once you're there, questions are rushing through your heads: Which gate should I go? Do I have any items not allowed on the aircraft (eg.: accidentally left some stuff in my pocket)? What will customs look for? Where can I pick up my luggage? etc, etc. Add all the security checks and transit visa processes (where needed), and it becomes a quite painful, and sometimes shocking experience (especially if you fly with your family). I'm a pretty relaxed guy, but last time I flew back to Hungary I had some moments where I was damn close to freak out (missing luggage, false-positive drug test on my wife's bag, etc).
As a conclusion, I can say, yes, I would undertake a lie detector if necessary, but it won't help me having a smooth trip....
