A few from when the other runway was in use, nice day, bad day. And some methods of deice, for this time of year.

Is it my eyes, or is the aircraft too low on the fourth shot??

You are correct, I am below the profile, this is common practice if not flying a jet as the PAPI/VASI are calibrated for the bigger jets, ie. 777, 767 etc

I really enjoy the approach photos into Auckland , Ice and snow tho , will have to pass on on , i do love the heat and respective energy off a couple PC's on a cold night biggrin.gif
