Runway 29/11 will be the ideal in these conditions when the runway is extended , the C17s use it regular but to have triple 7s and A340s cool.gif

That Dash8 pilot tryin to save on tires?

Thanks Dean, that Dash 8 guy landed well, and the ATR. The B1900's appear to be hard to handle in those conditions , but hard to get a good pic because of their approach speed (fast) and my position.
The camera cant show the 30kt(gusting) wind straight down the runway.....felt sorry for that piper, he flew over half the length before thumping it down.

Cant wait for that Ian biggrin.gif .......will make for some interesting golf at the north end.......

The Harewood Golf Club leases the land from the Airport Authority or so i have been told .
