yup sounds right, it was passing through archerfield when i refueled her, it is a damn big a/c, could almost have drivern the fuel truck clean under her, had to stand on tippy toes on the ladder just to hand the hose up.

i am sure if we looked hard enough we could find some tongue.gif

Ahh I think you mean Grumman Avenger..the only flying Dauntless is in the US and a Dauntless is not much bigger than a Harvard

Close - all three (!) Avengers in Aus are owned by one Steve Searle of the Wirraway Aviation Museum, near Beaudesert. So you were in the right region - the Gold Coast.... smile.gif
