Nice! ...those Vertigo models look very nice. Is that your repaint?

One heck off a choice to paint the group as every aircraft had a different scheme for the race , I do have an old colour photo off No.69 . cool.gif guessing ? quite typical the age off photos turns to a yellowish tinge .

Just been over at SOH .. Jezzz ole 69 really got pasted ! so many schemes in a short time ! and show the very same colour plate i have here .

Ian, you've probably got the same picture that I have and the Sand seems a tadge darker, but I have taken the colours from the USAAC Spec. 14057-A.

Bruce , Very same picture also a colour plate , from the book History of the USAF by David A Anderton , further searching found the entire history and further more more books out shelf , I think i may just check out Vertigo Studios , sorta humm and harr earlier .
