Ag and EP-3 / P3-C

Just a couple resulting from a wet chc arfternoon in front of the computer. (any excuse)

















Really enjoying messing around with the lighting/shading/colour.......trying for that 'as real as it gets look" didn't quite get that look with the EP-3 , its an FS9model that i manged to get flying in FSX....but no panel ....just outiside textures, and they are little fuzzy...but an interesting aircraft. The JSDF P-3C is for FSX and looks much better (i think so anyway)
And of course thanks to deane B for the fletcher and the 950 walter

Me too Ian and the dusters.....had a cresco buzzing around today between the sleet showers.
Is the cresco the same as the "walter" ?

Have you sharpened any of the screenshots before posting, as they are very clean and clear. Screenshot number 2 is especially nice, good lighting and background on it.

Thanks HT......yes, i run them thru photoshop: crop, sharpen, gamma correction, exposure and colour adjust and offset tones(makes up for my lack of graphics card mb's)
Some just look awfull when sharpened, and then you get one that looks good with no adjusting.

I dont add anything, just adjust whats on the screen. Not wanting to sound all "arty"....but i try to make the shot balanced.....ummmm....hard to explain. I prefer in flight no ground shots....just me, i love the sky tones and clouds....blah blah...sorry to waffle on..........

Im using a trial version of the new photoshop CS5 v 12.....amazing, but $1500 to buy. and also Corel photoproX2, and the one you put me onto ....anyway, thanks for the comment HT

No - the Walter Fletchers are Fletcher airframes upgraded with Walter Turbine engines. Superair also have some Fletchers with PT-6 turbines fitted with a similar cowl.
The Cresco is a completely different design, although based on the Fletcher. Main visible differences are - the later 750HP Cresco has a slighly sleeker nose without the airscoop underneath, conventional elevator, rather than Fletchers all moving one, dosal fin and larger squarer vertical stab and larger mainwheels. The wing looks similar but the Cresco has integral fuel tanks rather than the Fletchers, leading edge mounted ones. In saying that there are so many variants out there, they are getting hard to tell apart.
