Welcome to the NZFF Screenshot Competition for July 2010.

This month's rules are as follows:

1) The screenshot must be from a Flight Simulator program (FS2004, FSX, X-Plane, etc), and the position of the shot must be somewhere over New Zealand territory.

2) The image size must be at least 1024 pixels wide, and no wider than 1280 pixels -- this is a change from previously, so take note! Read the uploading screenshot guide to find out how to re-size your shot. Please keep a high resolution version saved on your computer; the admin may request it from you at the end of the month to convert into a site banner!

3) Images can be submitted from July 2nd to July 31st 2010, with only one entry per member. You can change your submission before the closing date if you want, just delete the old one and replace it with a new one (by using the edit button at the bottom of your post. Please don't post saying you have edited your original entry, as this creates unnecessary clutter).

4) Soon after the competition ends, a poll will open to decide who has the best image, then the winner will have a cropped version of their image appear in the NZFF banner as well as receiving the prize the adulation of the forum!

5) Editing is allowed, if you know how to do it. The more stunning your shots look the better!

6) This month's theme is 'Movie Tie-in.'. As always you can interpret the theme as you wish, but you must be able to explain how your screenshot ties in to a movie.

Sorry about the resolution, Photobucket isn't playing nice lately to high res images, I have the original hi res on my HDD.

At least simming keeps me from going out and using my .303 Enfield carbine or Mosin-Nagant to shoot rabbits and squirrels with biggrin.gif

Can't speak for the .44 Mag, but I'd hedge the bet that the .303 or 7.62x54R rounds are every bit as powerful as the .270 - and when used on something the size of a rabbit or smaller - well let's just say you might as well have hit them with an artillery round biggrin.gif

And here is my entry..... The title of the film is not "Avatar", but a film with a connection to RealNZ!
