Gives people an idea from the main rotor , the energy , as typical off many choppers the angle of the tail rotor to counter the toque ! smile.gif

My son works at Woodbourne and was lined up for a flight in a Black Hawk on Wednesday but weather not good so is hoping to go today so I have told him DON"T FORGET THE CAMERA I want some pics taken from inside and of cockpit if possible he also said he would ask if they could do a fly over Omaka but I think he will be pushing his luck a bit on that one winkyy.gif

The Royal New Zealand Air Force's fleet of Iroquois are in the twilight of their service life, but a young pilot based at Ohakea, near Palmerston North, would still choose to fly the relic over a more modern Black Hawk.

blackhawks are getting abit long in the tooth as well probs why aus is replacing theirs with mrh90s but at least the hueys are easier to maintain

Charles had some good replies during that interview.
He mentioned that he had the opportunity to fly an Aussie Black Hawk in East Timor and mentioned that he liked one or two things more aobut the Huey.
Once the others asked thier question I just had to ask what the Huey did better, the reply, It looks better and sure does sound better.

Just doing my write up on Black Hawks and Blackbird so better get back to it.

Sorry if some of the pictures done appear sometimes, photo bucket has been playing up recently.

All four aircraft are still here, from what I hear some if not all will head back to CHCH on Sunday but dont quote me on that.
