Every time I see Concord it makes me regret the backward step aviation took when they were grounded and reaffirms my dislike of BA.
The story goes that Richard Branson offered to buy the Concord fleet from BA and take on the financial burden of operating them for the love of the aircraft and the great days of aviation they symbolise. BA agreed to the sale but, no doubt due to the bitter feud that exists between the two companies, refused to sell or supply any spare parts, support or technical knowledge/experience. This as BA knew made the operation of Concord by Virgin impossible and thus ended an era. Thanks BA!!

' Have you ever notice that the experts who decree that the age of the pilot is over are people who have never flown anything? In spite of the intensity of their feelings that the pilot's day is over I know of no expert who has volunteered to be a passenger in a non-piloted aircraft..'
